Lots. Depends on the shoot. I have no one system I use.

The American west, real people, moments, documentaries, autobiographies, music.
Were you trained in photography or was it just a case of trial and error? In case of any school, do you recommend it?
Don't recommend photography school. If you want to learn the technical aspects of photography take a job assisting lots of different photographers, and then take one assisting someone whose work you respect.
I myself did not go to school nor did I assist for more than six months. I don't regret not going to school, they just end up sucking all your own thought process out of your head. I do regret not assisting more. Point here. . .assist assist assist.
